Halfway River Ridge

Halfway River Ridge is a long, flat-topped, tree-covered ridge on provincial Crown land. The site has been extensively investigated by oil, gas, and other resource companies, so the nearby road network is extensive. Once the adjacent Hackney Hills project is developed, it will be easy to interconnect Halfway River’s up to 250 MW of power through the Hackney complex. In the near future, connection to the Northeast Transmission Line is also expected to be an option.
