Mount Ptarmigan

Mount Ptarmigan is on provincial Crown land and comprises a series of treeless and treed hills. It has an estimated 200 MW of generating capacity. Surrounded by mining, petroleum and forestry development roads, the site is about 30 km from a potential interconnect at Thunder Mountain and a mere six km from the Alberta border.
